Case:
On September 26, 2015, a client took a 3TB hard disk of Seagate’s ST 3.5 -inch to our data recovery center. After a brief description of the customer, we learned that this hard disk is usually used by customers to store important information.All the data backups of the customer are inside, and now the hard disk cannot be used, and the customer has a few statements to be used in urgent need, so data recovery is needed immediately.
Solution:
The engineer of the recovery center took the hard disk in the hands of the customer and conducted a comprehensive test on the hard disk. Through the test, we found that the sound of the hard disk will have a slight wear disk when the hard disk is powered on. And asked customers the failure that the hard disk was previously reflected. Customers told us that when this hard disk was used, there were many collisions, but there was no problem in the use of later use. Because the structure and characteristics of the hard disk did not understand the structure and characteristics of the hard disk, the customer did not attract attention. Hearing the customer’s description, the engineer nodded slightly and explained to the customer the cause of this failure. Because the magnetic head and plate of the hard disk have a very small distance, if the hard disk occurs in the process of collision or drop during use, it will cause great damage to the hard disk. It is difficult to extract it comprehensively. After explaining the cause of this failure to the client, the engineer also gave the corresponding solution. This situation must be opened for data recovery and reported a reasonable price to the customer. After simple consideration, the customer agrees to recover the data of this hard disk. After sending the customer away, our engineer immediately went to the market to buy a part of the accessory disk with a higher degree of matching the parameters of the fault disk, and the opening operation was performed in a level 100 dust -free space environment. Because the hard disk had six magnetic heads, in order to avoid it to avoid The damage of the magnetic head, our engineers were very careful. After half an hour of hard work, the opening was finally successful. Subsequently, the engineer received the hard disk to the PC 3000 UDMA device. The sound of the original disk of the hard disk was gone, and the hard disk quickly reset. Subsequently, the engineer opened the hard disk data recovery interface. After setting some corresponding parameters, the hard disk recovered the hard disk. Because the hard disk has a small amount of bad ducts, the engineer slowed down a little. After nearly ten hours of recovery, the data of the hard disk was finally successfully extracted.
