Case:
A HP DL380 G4 server uses the HP Smart Array controller to mount a domestic disk array. The disk array consists of 14 146G SCSI hard disks. The operating system is Linux, which builds NFS+FTP as the company’s internal file server.Due to the relocation of the computer room, the administrator cleaned the machine by the way. After the line was connected to the new machine room, RAID could not be recognized and did not initialize.
Solution:
1. Put the SCSI hard drive cabinet directly to the SCSI extension card that does not contain RAID functions.2. Connect all hard disks by single disk on a single disk on the fixing platform for the dedicated (after the modification of Windows2003).3. Do the full mirror of all hard disks in a read -only way, and at the same time, the image is also stored on the device with redundant protection.4. Analyze the dual -cycle verification parameters of the original RAID from the mirror.5. Remove the early offline disk on the virtual RAID platform, explain the file system, and the data can be exported.6. Connect the plate array on the original HP server and re -configure RAID.7. The data is passed back to the newly built disk arrays through network DD, NFS, Samba, FTP, SSH, etc.
