Case:
The customer’s server is the HP ML350G4 server. It was originally a RAID5 made of three 146G hard disks. The customer expanded three hard disks. It made a new set of RAID5 and put all production data on this new RAID5.The server suddenly power off. After restarting, the two groups of RAID5 could not work normally. After detecting the first group of RAID5, a hard disk was broken. The second group of RAID5 hard disks is not damaged. But the customer told the after -sales method of HP forced online, and it was not successful.
Solution:
We began to mirror the three hard disks in the second group, analyzed the original data structure, and determined the original RAID5 parameter after analysis. It was a dual -loop of HP, independent tools, and restored all data. The data has more than 200 G, all of which are important documents for customers.
